1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider 1600

In addition to the full refresh of the body and interior, the factory 1600cc Normale engine was rebuilt to Veloce specifications. Believed to have been California car most of its life, the three-year restoration was completed in 2011. The red paintwork still shows well, displaying good shine over the body surfaces. The trim and brightwork appear complete and in good condition and consist of both new and re-chromed pieces. The soft top remains fully operational and shows well, with fabric free of rips and a clear rear window. A coating of rust inhibitor was applied to the underside at the same time. The interior remains in good condition with black upholstery and contrasting body color dash, accompanied by the proper radio delete plate. Seat upholstery was replaced at the time of restoration and remains in good condition. Veglia gauges are in good working order and display some faint yellowing on the speedometer typeface as well as some light pitting along the trim rings. All other controls, indicators, and electric accessories remain fully operational. 5K miles since the restoration. The photo above show the painted floor pans with the carpet and seats removed. The trunk compartment remains clean and tidy, complete with its spare wheel and tire along with jack and tool-kit.
