Description
This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is a red-over-red convertible that is powered by a replacement 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Rally Red and was repainted in 2020, and details include a white convertible top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a side-exit exhaust system, and a retractable antenna. The 15â?³ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and are mounted with Uniroyal tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The bucket seats are upholstered in red vinyl and joined by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts. The driverâ??s armrest is scuffed. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The engine stamping is shown above.
