Beck 550 Spyder

This Beck 550 Spyder was refurbished by Fibersteel of Azusa, California, before it was acquired by the selling dealer on BaT in October 2023. Work involved adding a Fibersteel windshield, driver-side mirror, low-back bucket seats, shifter, and handbrake kit as well as adjustable spring plates, concealed four-wheel disc brakes, and 15â?³ Vintage 190 wheels. Power comes from a 2,180cc flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. An EMPI Accu-Fire electronic ignition system and dual Weber 40 IDF carburetors are additional elements. Exterior details include an aluminum oil cooler grille, a plexiglass windshield, a driver-side rear fairing, gold-colored â??Porscheâ? and â??Spyderâ? badging, blue pegasus logos, white #295 meatballs, leather rear hold-down straps, and blue tail spears with gold pinstriping. A portion of the photos in the gallery were taken in October 2023. Staggered-width Vintage 190 15â?³ wide-five wheels are mounted with 185/65 front and 205/60 rear Yokohama tires. Four-wheel discs are hidden behind simulated brake drums. Adjustable spring plates are noted, and the brake master cylinder, brake lines, and shocks were replaced by Fibersteel. Fibersteel low-back bucket seats are trimmed in blue vinyl with patterned cloth that extends to the fairing-mounted headrest.
