Description
General Motors never made a Starfire in 1962 with a white interior and black dash and package tray. This is basically a new car! The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt. Engine intake and exhaust manifold are HPC'd in silver and valley pan chromed. Carburetor completely rebuilt. New distributor, new coil, new plug wires, new plugs, new water pump, new fuel pump, new radiator (custom made by Brice Radiator), new alternator (looks like a generator), new air conditioning compressor (polished aluminum), new "Old Air" air conditioning system and new heating system. Both systems divorced. New battery and new air compressor located in the trunk. New custom made plates for firewall, custom fan shroud, and two overflow tanks on each side of radiator. New paint and 4 coats clear, side stainless "custom made", and front bumper re-chromed. Entire car was lowered 2 inches, complete new front end with 2 inch dropped spindles, new disc brakes, new chrome master cylinder with all new brake lines. New front shocks and new air shocks in the rear. New chrome wheels with Dodge Lancer hubcaps and new Diamond Back tires, front 225, 65R, 15; rear are 245, 65R, 15. All new exhaust system. Headliner is made out of the same material as the seats. All door panels and kick panels are done in plexiglass backing, no cardboard hence, no warping. Interior is done in the same factory pattern with all correct trim. Temperature and sound proofing insulation installed throughout interior. Dash was taken out and completely redone. Console has tachometer, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and air compressor gauge. Bluetooth radio and new front and rear speakers. This is the first year that the Oldsmobile Starfire was made in a 2 door hardtop, with the top looking like a convertible top.Don't miss this opportunity to own a "one of a kind" classic!
