Description
The body has been refinished in red over a black interior and power comes from a replacement 2. 8-liter L28 inline-six paired with a replacement five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14? steel wheels with “D” hubcaps, front disc brakes, triple Weber carburetors, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, silicone coolant hoses, a stainless steel exhaust system, Takata four-point harnesses, a three-spoke Nardi steering wheel, and an aftermarket AM/FM stereo. The spark plugs were replaced and the oil changed in preparation for sale. The Series 1 body was stripped and refinished in its current shade of red in 2016 and features black-finished bumpers, a chrome driver-side mirror, a “240Z” badge on the sail panel, and a single exhaust outlet. Steel 14? wheels feature “D” hubcaps and are mounted with 195/70 Falken Ziex ZE914. Braking is handled by front discs featuring a Toyota-based four-piston caliper conversion and rear drums. The suspension is equipped with Tokico dampers at each corner. Red pull straps have been fitted in place of the stock door handles, and other equipment includes Takata four-point harnesses, a wood shift knob, vertical rear window defroster, a heater, and an aftermarket AM/FM stereo. The three-spoke Nardi steering wheel features a Datsun horn button and fronts a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and centrally mounted auxiliary gauges measuring oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level.
