Description
This 1959 Jaguar XK150 is a left-hand drive Drophead Coupe that was built on April 21, 1959 and underwent a body-off restoration in the early 1990s. It is finished in black with a tan soft top over a red interior and is powered by a numbers-matching 3. 4-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes fender-mounted side mirrors, chrome knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a locking glove compartment. The selling dealer acquired the car earlier this year, and work has since consisted of replacement of the cylinder head gaskets, fuel pump, exhaust manifolds, tires, brake rotors and pads, and fluids. Finished from the factory in British Racing Green, the body was removed from the frame and repainted black in the early 1990s by Peter Gould of British Auto/USA in Manchester, New Hampshire. Additional exterior details include a tan soft top, fender-mounted side mirrors, and wraparound bumpers with overriders. Chrome-finished 16â? wire wheels wear two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with Coker Classic whitewall tires that were installed in May 2021. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners, and the brake pads and rotors were recently replaced. The interior has been reupholstered in red with leather front bucket seats and a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets.
