Description
This 1958 Buick Special is a six-passenger wagon which was purchased out of Oregon by the selling dealer in 2015. Positioned as the entry trim, the Special was equipped with a 122-inch wheelbase and power-assisted brakes and steering. Steel wheels are fitted with factory wheel covers and wide-whitewall tires. The black and white treatment is carried to the interior. The padded dashboard features black trim and a cluster of gauges for monitoring speed, engine temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel is fitted in place of the factory unit. The five-digit odometer shows just over 13k miles, with true mileage unknown. The 364ci V8 is topped with a two-barrel carburetor and was rated at 250 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Dynaflow automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
