1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce 750F 5-Speed

Chassis #1495-03863 underwent a mechanical restoration and cosmetic refurbishment that was largely performed at the shop of former AROC president Bill Gillham in Jefferson, Oregon, and was completed in winter 2019. Work performed included body repairs, a repaint in Celeste Blue, installation of a new black soft top, and rebuilds of the replacement 1,290cc twin-cam four, dual Weber carburetors, five-speed manual transmission, suspension, and brakes. Approximately 400 break-in miles have been added and an oil change has been performed since completion. The Pinin Farina-styled body was stripped to bare metal and new Celeste Blue (AR301) paint was applied by Ramirez Restoration of Ramona, California before the car was sent to Bill Gillhamâ??s Hooligan Racing for finishing. The replacement Stayfast canvas soft top features a plastic rear window and can be seen both raised and lowered. A Raydot-style mirror has been added on the driverâ??s side. Painted Giulietta Fergat wheels wear chrome hubcaps, and an unmounted matching spare wheel is included in the sale. The front suspension and brakes were rebuilt by Zimmerman Racing of Oceanside, California with bushings reamed to fit mating pins as well as replacement tie rod ends, wheel bearings, seals, hydraulics, and brake shoes. Koni shocks were fitted along with a chassis alignment and further brake and suspension adjustments by Hooligan Racing. The cockpit is trimmed in replacement black upholstery with a steel wrinkle-finished dash cap, black door panels, blue piping, and Radici Wilton wool carpets covered by reproduction molded floor mats sourced from Re-Originals, Inc.
