Description

1969 Fairlane Cobra, approximately 100 miles have been put on the car since picking it up from the restoration shop. I bought this car from a couple that had owned it since 1993. He used to drive it back and forth to work. Him and his wife decided to have the car restored. Restoration began in 2006 with the restoration shop they went a picked the car up last year. I have all of the receipts from the restoration shop. (Kept the car for years and just worked on it when they wanted to!) This cost was labor only! The original color of the car was Candy Apple red. The owner decided to paint in Calypso Corral. The car has had new front floor pans installed and lower rear quarters. The car is super straight. He also added the torino GT scoop. It was an original column shift car but many years ago a 67 Mustang shifter was installed which works great. It has a new shifter bezel, carpet, brake and gas pedal pad, and inserts put in the front seats. The headliner has one tear but I have a new headliner that goes with the car. He found and installed a factory tach and AM/FM radio. Both of those along with the turn signal indicators in the scoop will need to be hooked up. All of the front end, brakes, shocks, springs, tie rod ends, ball joints, power steering assist, are new. The rear end has had new bearings, seals, and brakes installed and retains the original 3rd member. The motor is the correct block that came in the car. It has been bored .030, is balanced, has SCAT crank and rods, forged 10.5/1 pistons, Edlebrock Heads that have been port matched to the intake, Demon carb, new distributor, aluminum water pump, Comp 280 Cam, lifters, and spring kit, roller rockers, and the original exhaust manifolds. I also has a new aluminum radiator. The transmission is a new TCI Street Fighter C6. Pretty much everything on the car was installed new or has been restored. The underside of the car is painted black, it has a new H pipe with 3 chamber flow master mufflers. The car also has a set of Bob Glidden signature series Crager drag lites. The car was built to look old school and was a highly optioned car in it's day.
