1963 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 327/340 4-Speed

The silver-over-red convertible is fitted with a black soft top, chrome bumperettes, flip-up headlights, a Carter four-barrel carburetor, and 15� American Racing Torq Thrust wheels mounted over four-wheel drum brakes. The cabin is outfitted with red vinyl upholstery, power windows, carpeted floor mats, a Hurst shifter, and an AM radio. The alternator, radiator, and coolant reservoir were replaced in 2021. The fiberglass body was factory-finished in Sebring Silver (941) and was stripped and repainted during the refurbishment. Details include a replacement black soft top as well as flip-up headlights, fender vents, quad taillights, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. The headlight motors were rebuilt in 2016. American Racing Torq Thrust 15� wheels are mounted with 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires with 2022 and 2023 production date codes. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums. The bucket seats are upholstered in red vinyl and joined by color-coordinated door panels, seatbelts, and carpets.
