1965 Ford Mustang GT K-Code Fastback 4-Speed

This 1965 Ford Mustang GT is finished in metallic turquoise over a matching Deluxe interior with white accents and powered by a numbers-matching 289ci Hi-Po V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional options include chrome styled steel wheels, Rally Pac gauges, a center console, and a Sport Deck rear seat. Just 11 K-Code Mustang fastbacks were finished in Twilight Turquoise for the 1965 model year according to Mustang historian Tony Gregory. GT equipment included fog lamps, rocker stripes, and exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. Chrome 14? styled steel wheels wear pony center caps and BFGoodrich Silvertown redline bias-ply tires. A covered matching spare is housed in the trunk. The GT package included revised spring rates, stiffer shocks, and a thicker front sway bar from the factory when compared to the standard Mustang, as well as front disc brakes. Steering is unassisted. The cabin is upholstered in Aqua vinyl and features Deluxe trim, which includes embossed horses and white vinyl inserts on the on the low-backed bucket seats and Sport Deck folding rear bench. Woodgrain appliqués accent the dash and optional center console, and aftermarket floor mats protect blue carpets.
