Description

This 1983 Porsche 911SC coupe was built as a race car in 1994 by Mode Engineering for Martin Snow Racing to campaign in the IMSA Supercar Series. The car was driven by Pete McCarroll and Mark Martin in SCCA and Porsche Club racing events, and it features 993-style body panels finished in a red and white Marlboro-style livery. Power is supplied by a turbocharged, twin-plug 3. 6-liter flat-six with individual throttle bodies linked with a G50 five-speed transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The race-prepped cabin houses a single Sparco racing seat trimmed in black cloth along with a roll cage, an OMP steering wheel, and aftermarket gauges. Additional equipment includes Zytek engine management, MSD ignition, JRZ remote-reservoir shocks, adjustable suspension arms, a front splitter, an adjustable rear wing, 18â?³ BBS wheels with Hoosier slicks, and polycarbonate windows. This 911 race car was last raced in July 2024 at Road America for the WeatherTech International Challenge, and it is now offered in Minnesota with a spare set of wheels, SCCA and PCA racing log books, and a bill of sale. The car is fitted with fiberglass 993-style bodywork finished in a red and white Marlboro racing livery. Exterior features include an adjustable rear wing, flared fenders, a front splitter, polycarbonate windows, tow hooks, and hood pins. The left rear fender is cracked, and additional imperfections are shown in the gallery.
