Description
Power comes from a non-original but correct 2660cc inline-four mated to 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Recent maintenance included a fluid change, brake service, a new fuel pump and filter, and service to the overdrive. Chassis #232768 was sold new in North America and originally finished in Old English White over a Black interior. A color change to the present Black and Reno Red two-tone combination was performed during the refresh. The finish shows well overall, though some blistering has occurred on the bottom of the passengerâ??s door and some rock chips and scratches are present from use. Rolling stock includes chrome wire knock-offs, and a set of driving lamps have been installed up front. The fold-down windscreen is reported to move freely, and a soft top, tonneau cover, and full set of side curtains are included with the sale. A brake service performed earlier this year included the installation of new wheel cylinders and shoes. A three spoke wheel is fitted along with a full set of Smiths gauges. The overdrive is actuated by a toggle switch, and an optional heater is tucked up underneath the dash. 1,475 miles are currently shown on the odometer, though true mileage is unknown. Power comes from a non-original 2660cc OHV inline-four that wears a 1B230817M stamping and is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. A service performed four months ago involved the installation of a new fuel pump, filters, replacement overdrive solenoid, and a fluid change. The included custom-built trailer has been built out of the back-half of another 100/4 and features a set of knock-off wheels, working lights, a faux-tonneau cover, and a functional trunk. It is sold with its own title and registration. Also included with the sale are two spare tires and the aforementioned soft top, tonneau cover, side curtains, and a soft-face mallet. Photos from the refurbishment can be seen in the gallery. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate can be seen above and confirms the original color combo as well as the factory equipment.
