Description
Originally metallic green over an Avana beige interior, the car is now finished in red over black leather, and power is from a 2. 6-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Montreal was designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone and featured a NACA duct on the hood, retractable headlight covers, and six slats stacked vertically behind each side window. A video displaying the fold-away headlights in action can be seen here. Turbine-style 14 Campagnolo magnesium wheels have been media-blasted, repainted, and mounted with 195/70 Vredestein Sportrac S tires. Suspension features a double wishbone setup with coil springs up front and a live axle at the rear. The braking system was serviced with a new master cylinder, Goodrich hoses and fittings, and rear pads. Originally Avana beige, the cabin has been re-trimmed in black leather with matching carpets and door panels. Equipment includes power windows, rear seat luggage straps, and a Bertone radio-delete plate on the dash. A factory wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 260-km/h speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, amperage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
