It underwent a restoration between 2004 and 2007, during which it received a repaint in Dark Green and a refresh of the interior using java beige leather and green carpeting, along with the fitment of a java-colored soft top. Power is provided by a numbers-matching 2. 5L inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt during the restoration. The car was originally finished in Graphite Gray, and the exterior was stripped during the restoration before new metal was welded in around the rear wheel arches. It was then painted in its current shade of Dark Green (268), and a new windshield was installed, along with fresh body seals. Body-colored 14� steel wheels feature matching hubcaps that were fitted during the restoration, along with chrome trim rings and Cooper Lifeliner GLS whitewall tires. New bumpers were also fitted at the front and rear, and additional brightwork was re-chromed. The cabin was retrimmed with new java beige leather over the seats, door panels, dash, and visors in lieu of the original red upholstery. Green Wilton wool carpeting was fitted, and the burl wood trim on the dash, console, and windshield frame was refinished. Inertia-reel seatbelts have been added for the front occupants.
