1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II Sport Coupe

Thank you for taking a look at our 1956 Lincoln Mark II. With beautiful 1950's styling and an original starting price of nearly $10,000, the Mark II was the flagship for the brand. Continental, then it's own brand, was looking to create a car that competed with and was more luxurious than the European vehicles being imported. Much of the car was over-engineered and you can still feel the build quality today. The long hood and short trunk lid are iconic for the time period and show off the great proportions of the design. As only 2,550 were ever made, this is truly a rare American sport coupe. Our car started out life in Briar Brown Metallic - a dark root beer type color much more appropriate and befitting to the car than the gold that a previous owner chose.
