1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 6467 Numbers Matching White

This 1960 Cadillac Biarritz Convertible Items with the car show it was in that area as early as 1978, possibly since new. Not run and stored since the 1990's, it was recently purchased from the Estate. I have owned one other of these rare cars (only 1285 made +/-) previously and could not believe how complete and authentic this car is. I have no doubt that the mileage indicated of 60K is correct. Car started up easily after purchase and engine is very quiet (except for bad mufflers) Jan 20th update--Both mufflers cut out and being replaced with proper Walkers and stub pipe. Rotten tail pipes being removed. Air Ride compressor is operational and car will rise (but does NOT sit at proper height nor is level). While Functional- -The air ride is marginal at best!!!! The factory air ride system is 100% complete with all leveling valves and lines. Jan 20th update- -To protect the air ride system in the short term I am installing 2" blocks under front air towers to isolate them. In the rear I am placing GM era air shocks to take pressure off the original pods. These modifications will allow the car to be transported and test driven at proper and even height. The air ride compressor is plugged to aviod bag rupture. Brakes would not pump up so booster has been removed and rebuilt with correct diaphragm. Factory Master Cylinder required sleeve and rebuild. Jan 18th update- - Rebuilt Booster and Master Re-installed and bled. Brake pedal firm with correct travel. Tri-Power and Air Cleaner are obviously original to car and the vacuum switches and all linkage are intact and functional. All "3" carbs are factory and have the original tags with correct numbers as pictured.
