Description
This 1999 Plymouth Prowler was the subject of a custom build by Legendary Motorcar Company of Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada, in 2006 and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2016. The car was refinished in charcoal, silver, and orange, and a 7. 0-liter Chevrolet LS7 V8 was installed along with a Porsche G50 five-speed manual transaxle. The build also included shaving the exterior door handles, removing the bumpers, and overhauling the interior with Sateen leatherette upholstery, Corvette-sourced bucket seats, a custom-fabricated center console, a Porsche shifter assembly, and Stewart-Warner gauges. Additional equipment includes a black convertible top, a Kenwood stereo, a JL Audio amplifier, keyless electronic door latches, 18â?³ and 20â?³ Foose wheels, Baer brake rotors with Wilwood Calipers, Koni adjustable coilovers, and a black powder-coated chassis. The body was customized and refinished in BASF Carizzma Charcoal Pearl and Platinum Silver with Intense Orange and black graphics. Custom modifications performed at Legendary Motorcar Company included shaved exterior door handles, removed front and rear bumpers, custom front bumper mount hole covers, and a custom-fabricated rear lower valance with cutouts for the dual exhaust tips. The floor pan was modified to accommodate the Corvette torque tube assembly, and electronic door openers were installed along with an emergency release handle. The black folding convertible top is pictured in both its raised and lowered position in the gallery. Foose Nitrous wheels measure 18Ã?8â?³ on the front and 20Ã?10â?³ at the rear and are wrapped in Kumho Ecsta tires measuring 265/35 up front and 295/40 out back.
