Description
This 1970 Oldsmobile 442 convertible is finished in black with white stripes over an ivory interior and is powered by a 455ci V8 linked with a replacement four-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in Ebony Black (19) with red inner fenders and features a black vinyl power-operated convertible top that can be seen both raised and lowered in the gallery. A decklid spoiler, a dual exhaust system, and chrome bumpers are fitted, along with a fiberglass dual-inlet hood, sport mirrors, W-30 badging, and white accent stripes. Painted and polished 14? Rally wheels wear Goodyear tires, and the full-size spare mounted in the trunk and is protected by a vinyl cover. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, and the brake booster and master cylinder were reportedly replaced in October 2018. The interior features ivory vinyl upholstery, black loop carpeting, faux wood accents, bucket seats split by a center console, and a Hurst T-handle shifter. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, an 8-track tape player, and power windows and mirrors. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, and a combination gauge monitoring oil pressure, engine temperature, and fuel level. True mileage is unknown. The 455ci V8 features “F” casting marks on the cylinder heads as well as a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake manifold.
