1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler 5-Speed

This 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is powered by a replacement GM 350ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and it was repainted in black over brown leather. Equipment includes Holley electronic fuel injection, lifted suspension, power-assisted brakes, and black-finished wheels with 32â?³ tires as well as a bikini soft top, a hitch receiver, a rollbar, a B&M shifter, a Clarion stereo, and Focal speakers. Subsequent work included repainting the spare-tire carrier, rebuilding the rear differential, and replacing the cooling fan, thermostat, left-rear axle, U-joints, front wheel bearings, and rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. Full-frame doors and a black bikini top are fitted, and additional exterior details include aftermarket bumpers, dual mirrors, black wheel-arch flares, and a hitch receiver. Black-finished wheels are mounted with 32Ã?11. 5â?³ Cordovan Wild Trac Radial RVT white-outline tires. The truck is equipped with power-assisted brakes, and BDS suspension components are in place. The front wheel bearings and the rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders were replaced in November 2023. An included rear-mounted, swing-away spare-tire carrier was repainted in February 2024 and depicted in the gallery. The high-back bucket seats are upholstered in brown leather, and additional appointments include locking center storage, a black-finished rollbar, a B&M shifter, and a Clarion stereo connected to Focal speakers.
