Description
Details of the build include a two-tone repaint, new leather upholstery, and custom interior trim as well as a 389ci V8 with forged pistons, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, and FAST fuel injection. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and the car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes and power-assisted rack and pinion steering. A new battery was installed in preparation for the sale. Originally finished in Burgundy (N), this two-door hardtop now wears a black over charcoal metallic scheme divided by a red pinstripe along the beltline. Noted blemishes include touch-ups on the right door, swirl marks, and a spot of rust at the lower interior edge of the left front wheel well. Quick-Latch push-button closures have been added to the hood. The ride height is raked and lowered over polished 18 American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wearing Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires. Six-piston Baer Racing brake calipers are fitted over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners, and a rack-and-pinion steering setup has been retrofitted. Stock low-backed bucket seats feature replacement black leather upholstery, and custom door panels mimic the exterior color scheme. A full-length console is fitted between the seats.
