1970 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 280 SL

1970 Mercedes Benz 280SL. This investment grade car has been the recipient of a full restoration, and shows as almost new. The car was brought down to bare metal, and painted in Mercedes BLUE (903H) paint. The paint has great shine and luster.The car also received a new LEATHER Interior in Mercedes PARCHMENT. The factory original AIR CONDITIONING BLOWS COLD, and the factory power steering works as it should. The original engine was rebuilt and has LESS THEN 1000 MILES ON THE REBUILD (6 years ago) and has had a recent reseal!!! The fuel injection pump was rebuilt as well. She runs beautifully, and makes good power and torque. The car takes its drives through its original MANUAL 4-SPEED gearbox, she shifts as smoothly as any we have driven. The convertible top is new, the top mechanism has been restored and works as new. The matching BLUE hardtop, having received the same level of paint and trim restoration as the rest of the body. The engine compartment is show quality. The brakes, tires, suspension and exhaust all have less than 1000 miles as well. The car has a modern KENWOOD stereo.
