Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster

This Factory Five Racing Mk4 Cobra replica is finished in red metallic over a black vinyl interior and is equipped with a 302ci V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Donated new by Factory Five as a disassembled kit for the 2015 FedEx St. Jude Classic PGA golf tournament in Memphis, Tennessee, the car was constructed on-site by a team of FedEx pilots, Factory Five employees, and St. Jude patients, and it was subsequently auctioned for the charity in April 2016. Modeled after the 1965 427 S/C Cobra, the car features Edelbrock RPM aluminum cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft as well as a 650-cfm carburetor on a dual-plane intake manifold. Additional equipment includes side exhaust pipes, Halibrand-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a coilover suspension. Features include LED headlamps, a Talbot-style side mirror, wind deflectors, side exhaust pipes, a chrome roll hoop, front and rear jack hooks, and a period-style fuel-filler cap. Halibrand-style 17” wheels with knock-off-style hub covers wear staggered-width Toyo Proxes R888 tires in sizes 245/40 up front and 315/35 at the rear. Braking is managed by four-wheel discs, and the suspension features front and rear adjustable coilovers. The two-place cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats upholstered in black and fitted with Simpson five-point harnesses.
