Description
This custom truck was built by combining body and interior components from a 1987 Buick Regal with the cargo bed, chassis, and drivetrain of a 1986 Chevrolet El Camino. It features a sculpted hood, a fabricated tailgate, and a tonneau cover along with GNX-style 16â?³ wheels. Inside, the cabin houses a split-bench seat trimmed in gray cloth accompanied by an AM/FM cassette player, air conditioning, and cruise control. Power is provided by a 305ci V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, and further equipment includes front disc brakes, power steering, and a dual exhaust system. The bodywork from the Buick Regal was modified to incorporate the cargo bed and fitted over the El Camino chassis as part of the initial build. A tailgate utilizing the rear panel assembly from the Regal was fabricated before the vehicle was finished in black. GNX badging, a sculpted hood, fender vents, body-color bumpers, dual side mirrors, and a tonneau cover are further details. A scratch on the right quarter panel and wear in the bed are noted. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. GNX-style 16â?³ cross-lace wheels wear chrome trim rings and are mounted with 245/50 BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires.
