1969 Lotus Europa S2

It is finished in green with yellow stripes over a red interior, and power is supplied by a replacement 1,565cc inline-four equipped with a Gordini crossflow cylinder head, Weber carburetors, and PerTronix ignition. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional modifications include a replacement frame, AVO Fast Road coilovers, Revolution HR-Spitfire wheels, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, and a Koa wood dashboard. The car is equipped with Talbot Yorck green dot side mirrors. The Revolution HR-Spitfire wheels measure 13? up front and 14? out back and are wrapped in Federal Super Steel 595 tires sized 185/60 up and 195/60 respectively. The braking system is equipped with Girling front calipers with drilled and slotted rotors along with rear drums. Sound deadening was added to the cabin prior to the installation of replacement carpets, center console, and door panels, and a replacement Koa wood dash and black leather pad were fitted. A fire extinguisher is mounted in the passenger footwell. A red leather-wrapped Moto-Lita steering wheel frames an 8k-rpm tachometer and a 140-mph speedometer. The five-digit mechanical odometer is inoperable and currently shows 62k miles, though true mileage is unknown. The replacement Renault 1,565cc inline-four is equipped with a crossflow cylinder head, dual Weber 40 DCOE carburetors, a cast aluminum Lotus-script valve cover, ceramic-coated and heat wrapped four-into-one headers, and a PerTronix ignition system.
