Description
8-liter inline four, a refresh of the cabin in tan leather, and a repaint in Dark Green. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission fitted with a J-type overdrive, and additional equipment includes a Borla exhaust, dual SU carburetors, PerTronix electronic ignition, IPD sport springs, and KYB shocks. The body was refinished in its factory color of Dark Green (94) following rust repair in the floors. The bodyside moldings and weatherstripping were reportedly replaced at this time, and the bumpers were also re-chromed. Silver-painted 15? slotted steel wheels wear chrome beauty rings, branded hubcaps, and Falken Ziex ZE950 A/S tires that were mounted this year. A refresh of the brakes reportedly included replacement of the pads, shoes, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders, along with the installation of stainless steel lines. The seats were reupholstered in tan leather, and the cabin features matching door panels, black dash pads, and gray carpets with black trim. Dynamat acoustic and thermal insulation has reportedly been applied to the floors. The factory AM radio is disconnected, and no speakers are currently installed. A two-spoke steering wheel with a tan leather cover frames a rebuilt 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer.
