Description

This 1993 Jaguar XJR-S is #94 of 100 built by JaguarSport for the US market, 50 of which were convertibles. JaguarSport was a joint venture between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, and each XJR-S was hand-built with a TWR-modified 6. 0-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car spent time in California, Oregon, and Arizona and was previously listed on BaT in 2018 before its acquisition by the selling dealer, and service performed in 2019 included installing four tires, a cooling system service, and replacement of the idle air valve and both door seals. The front shock bushings were also reportedly replaced by the selling dealer, and the XJR-S features an upgraded suspension utilizing specially-tuned Bilstein shocks and TWR springs. The cabin features power-adjustable and heated seats trimmed in Cream leather with darker carpets and wood accents on the dashboard, center console, and doors. Features include cruise control, an onboard computer, a factory cassette stereo, and power windows, seats, and locks, and an automatic climate control system with air conditioning that was serviced in 2020. Instrumentation carries the JaguarSport logo and includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a quartet of auxiliary gauges. Under 49k miles are shown on the six-digit odometer, fewer than 1k of which were added by the selling dealer. The 6.
