Description
A subsequent overhaul included replacement of body panels, refinishing the truck in red over two-tone brown upholstery, and installation of a 347ci stroker V8. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed AOD automatic transmission and a 9? rear end with a limited-slip differential. Additional features include polished aluminum wheels, a Mustang II-style front end, four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows, aftermarket gauges, and a stereo. Details include white Ford and V8 tailgate lettering, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets. Polished aluminum E-T wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires and are mounted over disc brakes at each corner. The chassis has been updated with a Mustang II-style front end featuring independent suspension with tubular control arms as well as rack-and-pinion steering. The cab houses a two-tone bench seat, matching door panels with V8 logos, and sound-deadening material. A Ford-branded blanking plate covers the stock radio location, while an aftermarket stereo and air conditioning controls are mounted to the underside of the dash. The truck is also equipped with power windows. An Optima battery with a cut-off switch is located behind the seat.
