Description
The body is finished in a white, blue, and orange paint scheme with period-style livery over a stripped interior that houses a 14-point roll cage and a single Ultra Shield racing seat. Power is provided by an L24 inline-six that has been fitted with a Mikuni Competition intake manifold and triple carburetors, a forged crankshaft and H-beam connecting rods, Ross pistons, and a ceramic-coated MSA competition header with a 3? exhaust. Shifting is through a Nissan Competition Option 2 five-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes an ATL fuel cell, adjustable coilovers and control arms, Wilwood rear brakes, and Konig Rewind wheels. The car has campaigned in various VARA events, including races at Laguna Seca, Las Vegas, California Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway, Buttonwillow, Spring Mountain, and Willow Springs. This 240Z race car is now being offered in Carson City, Nevada with service records,, a spare set of wheels, and a bill of sale. The body was reportedly sandblasted and stitch-seam welded before being repainted its current orange, white, and blue paint scheme and fitted with various sponsorship decals and #39 livery. Features include painted headlight covers along with a chrome front bumper, a plexiglass rear window with safety straps, front and rear spoilers, rear tow hooks, and bullet-style side mirrors. The 14” Konig Rewind wheels feature silver-painted centers with polished lips and are mounted with Hankook C-51 racing slicks. Suspension modifications include adjustable front and rear control arms and sway bars, along with EMI Racing adjustable coilovers with Koni cartridges and springs.
