Description
Year:1965 Make:Pontiac Model:GTO Mileage:81000 1965 Pontiac GTO 4 speed with factory two tone Nightwatch Blue and Cameo Ivory painted top with Parchment interior. PHS Documented along with 5N on the trim tag proves legitimacy and shows there is no question that this is a legit GTO. This car is loaded with options so check out the PHS paperwork in the photos. This car received a 4 year frame off amateur restoration and was just finished two years ago. The car presents nicely as a driver which is what the older gentleman was intending to do with it. Drivability of this car is awesome as it is a reliable cruiser. There have been 600 miles put on this car since its NYS inspection this spring. The car is tight and right, all lights and gauges function as they should. The paint and body looks good but is not perfect. There are a couple small chips and runs present in the paint since this car was restored to be a nice driver and not an over the top show car. The trunk floor was replaced along with lower 1/4's during the time of the restoration. The drivetrain is not original but is a GTO stick coded engine from a 1974 GTO (350 CI) and the Muncie M20 4 speed is from a 1968. Everything was rebuilt in the driveline and the engine runs very strong and is very torquey. The clutch grabs tight to the floor and is dialed into where it should be. As stated before this car is tight and right and is a blast to drive. I have a 1965 389 engine that can be sold separately if you want to put a factory dated engine back in the car.
