1947 Ford Other

I am listing an extraordinary fully restored 1947 Ford coupe for my friend. The car looks like Gramps old Ford, but quite the contrary., keep reading to find out why it's not exactly like the car he used to drive. This is a 100% rust free car, no welded in patch panels. All the panels are 100% Henry steel that it came from the factory with back in 1947. The car still has it's original rust free body panels, doors and fenders. The car sits on a 2003 ford Ranger chassis that is fitted to the car's body. The drive train has a little over 4,000 original miles on it. The Ranger chassis had 3,000 miles on it when it received it's new / old Ford body. The car drives and rides like a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup. This is a really cool old Ford that's fun to drive, it's road worthy and ready to cruise anywhere at anytime, on the expressway, or on the scenic country back roads.. The car has a economical 3.0 6 cylinder engine with an automatic overdrive transmission. Power rack & pinion steering, power disc brakes. All the gauges work, all the lights work, including 4 way flashers. The glass is crystal clear all the way around, the horn works. The car and all it's components are 100% Ford. The doors open easy and close tight, all the glass opens and closes as they were designed to operate. The radio / cd player works. The car does have a heater as pictured/ The car has a very nice finish on the outside is professionally done, The interior is beautifully done as you can see and is very clean and comfortable. The engine bay is clean as is the trunk, there is a very expensive car cover along with a spare tire and jack. The chrome bumpers, grille and stainless is beautiful, no pitting. The car's undercarriage is extra clean, the floor pan is painted the same color as the body. The frame has it's original black paint. The tires are 215 R 75 15" 3" whitewall radials.
