1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce 750F

Powered by its matching-numbers 1290cc twin cam inline-four paired to a 4-speed manual gearbox, the car is currently fitted with a pair of Weber DCOE carburetors. Chrome elements were straightened as necessary prior to re-plating. A new top was also fitted and exhibits a gap along the windshield header following its recent installation. The car was stripped to its bare metal prior to the repaint, with some repair work performed on the grill area to remove dents and the replacement of the outer rocker panels. Seats are covered in a non-factory style, while interior foam and padding is believed to be original and in need of replacement. The 66k indicated miles are not believed accurate. The car retains its original 1290cc Veloce-spec twin-cam inline-four as verified by the number plate and paperwork from Alfa Storico included in the sale. Though presently fitted with a pair of Weber DCOE carburetors, a complete and restorable set of 40 DCO3s with their associated manifolds and hardware are included in the sale. 750-series cars carry build plates that denote the full chassis and engine numbers. Though this plate is presently uninstalled, it is reported to be original to the car. A photo of the engine stamping can be seen in the gallery.
