1973 DeTomaso Pantera

Powered by a 351ci Cleveland V8 mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transmission, the car was reportedly purchased new at a Ford dealer on the San Francisco Peninsula. The white paint is believed original and shows some chipping on the rear deck as well as an imperfection on the rear driverâ??s quarter panel near the bumper as shown in the gallery. The factory toolkit is missing some of its tools, though the jack and spare are included as pictured in the gallery. The unrestored interior remains unmodified with black upholstered seats, chrome-wrapped Veglia gauges, and angled instrument clusters. The A/C blows but does not get cold, and the 37,600 indicated miles are believed accurate. Under the rear decklid, the 351ci Cleveland V8 is fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and air cleaner. The brake master cylinder was recently replaced, and the engine is mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transaxle.
