Description
This 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V convertible has been refinished in white over a reupholstered black leather interior, and power is provided by a 430ci V8 mated to a Turbo-Drive three-speed automatic transmission. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2020. Factory standard and optional equipment includes a power-operated black soft top with a power-retractable rear window, power side and vent windows, air conditioning, an AM/FM Town & Country radio with a remote floor switch, and a power-adjustable front bench seat. Exterior features include bright trim and gold badging, chrome front bumperettes, chrome side mirrors, and dual rear antennas. The power-operated black soft top has gold Continental logos on the C-pillars and a power-retractable rear window. Steel wheels wear polished covers with gold Continental logos and are wrapped in whitewall tires that reportedly were replaced by the selling dealer. For the 1960 model year, the rear suspension was changed from coil to leaf springs, and drum brakes are fitted at all four corners. Amenities include a six-way power-adjustable front bench seat with lap belts, interior controls for the side mirrors, power locks, power windows, air conditioning, and a Town & Country AM radio with an FM tuner attachment and floor-mounted controls. A two-tone steering wheel fronts a machine-turned dash panel and a 120-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and a clock. True mileage is unknown.
