1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Coupe 6-Speed

This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3. 5-liter V8. A subsequent cosmetic refurbishment performed between 2010 and 2012 included a partial repaint in its factory red as well as an interior overhaul in tan leather. Additional work at that time included replacement carpets, a new headliner, reupholstered seats, recovered dash surfaces and door panels, as well as re-chroming the front and rear bumpers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission that was installed in 2019, and additional equipment includes air conditioning, European-market lights, and power-operated front and rear windows. The body was partially refinished in its factory red (DB 576) in 2010, at which time the bumpers were removed and re-chromed and a crack on the hood was repaired. Side marker lights are not present, and the car is equipped with Euro-market headlights, a sunroof, and chrome rocker moldings. Factory 14� steel wheels wear color-matched hubcaps and Blockley radial tires. Power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were standard equipment. The interior was refurbished at JNG Creations in Pittsboro, North Carolina, in 2012 at a cost of over $20k.
