1964 Ford Fairlane 500 2-Door Club Sedan 4-Speed

This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 left the factory as a Skylight Blue two-door Club sedan equipped with a 260ci V8, and it has been modified in the style of a Thunderbolt. A 390ci V8 was rebuilt with an Eagle rotating assembly and forged pistons to displace 427ci, and it is topped by a Offenhauser medium-rise intake manifold with dual 600-cfm Edelbrock carburetors. A Comp Cams camshaft, Dove Manufacturing chromoly roller rockers, headers, and PerTronix ignition were also fitted, and the engine is linked to a rebuilt Borg Warner T10 four-speed transmission and a 9â?³ rear end with a 3. 50 Detriot Truetrac differential. A lightweight Thunderbolt-style teardrop hood was installed along with lightweight fenders and bumpers before the car was repainted Wimbledon White with yellow graphics, while inside Econoline-specification front seats trimmed in Palomino upholstery were installed. The car was ordered in Skylight Blue (Y), and it has been modified with a fiberglass Thunderbolt-style hood, front fenders, and bumpers. It was then repainted Wimbledon White with yellow decals, and the inner headlights have been replaced by air intakes. The car has one windshield wiper, rear window clips, and front tow hooks.
