8-liter inline-six sourced from another 280SL that is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Service performed starting in September 2018 included installing a replacement fuel tank, water pump, drive belts, heater and radiator hoses, battery, tires, convertible top, and muffler. The exterior has been repainted in navy blue over a tan interior. This W113 is now offered with a removable hardtop and stand, service records since 2018, and a clean Washington, D. C. The body was reportedly repainted in navy blue at least 20 years ago. Factory 14â?³ steel wheels with Mercedes covers are wrapped in 195/70 Kumho Solus tires manufactured and installed in 2018. The suspension and brakes were redone during the aforementioned 1980s refurbishment. The seats, carpeting, and dashboard were reportedly redone as well, and the tan upholstery and German square-weave carpeting were sourced from GAHH Automotive. An Alpine AM/FM/CD head unit with Bluetooth was installed in 2018.
