1968 Volkswagen Kombi 23-Window Conversion

This 1968 Volkswagen Kombi was refurbished and modified in Brazil in the style of a 23-window Samba before being imported to the US in May 2021 by the selling dealer. The van is finished in two-tone blue and white over a reupholstered tan and brown vinyl interior and is powered by an air-cooled 1. 5L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a Samba-style cloth sunroof, a roof basket and ladder, a Blaupunkt radio, Safari-style windshield panels, sliding door windows, and pop-out side windows. The white-painted dash features a basket as well as a passenger-side grab handle, and additional interior equipment includes a Blaupunkt radio and rear side curtains. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a VDO 120-km/h speedometer.
