1988 BMW M3

This 1988 BMW M3 is finished in Diamond Black Metallic over black leather and powered by a 2. 3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The body is finished in Diamantschwarz Metallic (181) with red accents and features M3-specific front and rear spoilers, side skirts, front and rear bumpers, and fender flares. A replacement BMW windshield was installed in September 2018. The hood struts were replaced and the electric door mirrors were rebuilt in 2018. Paint chips are noted on the front fascia, and the clear coat on the side mirrors and lower windshield pillars shows oxidation and lifting. Factory 15” BBS basketweave wheels are wrapped in 205/55 Yokohama S-Drive tires. Additional amenities include electric windows, cruise control, air conditioning, an E46 ZHP shift knob, and a BMW Business CD player that has been modified with Bluetooth connectivity in place of the AM tuner. The air conditioning system was serviced and converted to use R134a refrigerant in December 2018, while the shifter was replaced and the linkage rebuilt in January 2020. A factory M-Tech 1 steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, and coolant temperature.
