Description

This 1967 Plymouth Barracuda convertible was purchased new from Corwin Churchill Co. Powered by a rebuilt 273ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in turquoise with a power-retractable white soft top over white vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, electronic ignition, wheel covers, front disc brakes, power steering, front bucket seats, lap belts, and a heater. The Barracuda was separated from Plymouthâ??s Valiant line for 1967, and a convertible model was introduced. One of 4,228 Barracuda convertibles built for the model year, this car was finished from the factory in Gold Metallic (ZZ1). The body was repainted in turquoise and the power-retractable white soft top was replaced prior to 2002, and the windshield was replaced in 2012. Following collision damage to the front end, right-front fender, and passenger door as well as rust repair to the driver-side quarter panel and the rear apron, the car was repainted again in 2021 in its current coating. The bumpers also were replaced, as were the right-front grille and headlight bezel. The hood inserts were rechromed, and the weatherstripping was replaced. In 2023, the convertible topâ??s rear window and the top boot were replaced.
