Description
This 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 is a right-hand-drive wagon that served as a support vehicle for the US team in the 1993 running of the Camel Trophy competition in Sabah, Malaysia. The truck is finished in Sandglow over black vinyl and powered by a 2. 5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, body-color 16â?³ steel wheels, a front brush guard, a Superwinch Husky 10 winch, Hella auxiliary lights, an air intake snorkel, and a roof rack and ladder. The truck is finished in Sandglow with Camel Trophy, Land Rover, Shell, and Malaysia Airlines decals and was reportedly refurbished in the UK following a rollover in the early 2000s. A previously installed sunroof has been patched with an aluminum panel, and additional exterior details include a front brush guard, a Superwinch Husky 10 winch, Hella driving lights and spotlights, an air intake snorkel, a roof rack and ladder, black wheel arch flares, a rear floodlight, a high-lift jack, and front and rear tow balls. There is a crack in the windshield and rust along the lower edges of the doors. The body-color 16â?³ steel wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, and a matching spare is affixed to the swing-away rear tire carrier. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners. The condition of the wheels is depicted in the gallery.
