Year: 1957 Make: International Harvester Model:AM-122 A concession window has been added on one side, and the interior has been outfitted with a stainless-steel cabinet, prep tables, and sinks as well as air conditioning and diamond-plate floors. Finished in blue and white, the van is further equipped with a single driverâ??s seat, sliding front doors, rear barn doors, 16â?³ chrome wheels, and adjustable rear air springs. Penned by Raymond Loewy, the Metro featured a cab-over-engine design and was offered in various lengths and configurations. A concession window was added to the right side, and additional details include a split windshield, sliding front doors, rear barn doors, a tow ball mount, and a rear fill panel with cut-out lettering. Chrome-finished 16â?³ steel wheels are mounted with 225/60 Mastercraft Stratus tires. The van rides on a 122â?³ wheelbase, and adjustable air-spring shocks have been added to the live rear axle. Braking is handled by hydraulic drums at all four corners. The forward cabin was repainted in white and features a single bucket seat trimmed in black. The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fronts a 90-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The six-digit odometer shows 65 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
