Power is supplied by a replacement fuel-injected 350ci V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The body was repainted in two-tone yellow and white, and the headlights, taillights, parking lights, side trim, front bumper, hood hinges, door handles, and door latches were replaced during the refurbishment. The removable white hardtop includes replacement weatherstripping and seals. Replacement 15? steel wheels with polished trim rings are fitted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO tires. The shocks and front leaf springs were replaced as well as the power steering pump and steering stabilizer. The interior features seats reupholstered in tan vinyl with a matching dash pad over replacement tan carpeting. An aftermarket stereo and speakers have been installed along with replacement dashboard vents and updated air conditioning system components sourced from a 1987 Chevrolet. The cruise control does not work. The black two-spoke steering wheel frames a woodgrain instrument panel including an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage.
