This 1953 Chevrolet Series 3600 is a ¾-ton pickup that reportedly was purchased new by a professional jockey with Kentucky Derby history who used it to tow travel trailers to various horse-racing tracks. A multi-year refurbishment concluded in 2010 involved the installation of a 383ci stroker V8, a 700R4 automatic transmission, a late-model rear differential, power front disc brakes, power steering, in-dash air conditioning, custom gauges, and tilt steering. The steel body was refinished in metallic green more than 10 years ago. Exterior features include white painted Chevrolet lettering on the tailgate, bow-tie accents on the running boards, and chrome bumpers and trim.
