Description

This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE Coupe is a running project that reportedly spent time in California before being brought to Florida around 12 years ago. Power is supplied by a 3. 5-liter M116 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in Papyrus White over a blue MB-Tex interior. Equipment includes a sunroof, a Frigiking underdash air conditioning unit, and a push-button Becker Grand Prix radio. Features include a sliding sunroof, chrome bumpers, and stainless wheel arch moldings. The paint is aged and faded, and rust and bubbling is present around the body, including rust-through in the driver-side front fender. Factory 14 steel wheels wear color-matched hubcaps and older 205/70 Michelin Radial X tires. Power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were standard equipment. The interior is trimmed in blue MB-Tex with matching carpets and door panels and wood accents on the dash and center storage tray. Amenities include a Frigiking underdash air conditioning unit, a push-button four-band Becker Grand Prix radio, and split folding center arm rests.
