1972 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Convertible Silver

Convertible soft top: Black Mileage: 57,478 Engine: Lt -1 350cid V-8 rated at 255 horsepower (original matching numbers block) Transmission: Manuel 4/speed sychro-mesh Options LT-1 Engine 4/Speed transmission 3:73 Posi-Traction rear Power Windows Power Steering Power Brakes Tires: a relatively new set of Goodyear Eagle GT steel belted radials, raised white letters (approx. 2500 miles) Tilt and telescopic steering wheel AM/FM push-button radio (not positive but owner thinks it is stereo) This is an a "REAL" 1972 Chevrolet LT1 Corvette convertible that still retains it's original block. It was purchased from a gentleman in South Florida who owned this car almost 25 years. Included is the Chevrolet factory build sheet and owner's manual. Sources on the internet state that 1741 LT1's were produced in 1972 and other sources state that 1336 were made. These totals included both coupes and convertibles. Almost all believe that the number of coupes built were substantially more than the convertibles. The paint and trim are beautiful on this car as is the body alignment with hood,doors and trunk. The black deluxe leather interior is excellent with no cuts or tears. The door panels and dash are as nice as the seats. Convertible top appears to have very little use. Most of these cars are only driven on beautiful days or evenings as appears to be the case with this car. Everything works on this car with the exception of the car's clock. There are no over-heating issues or charging issues with this car. The power windows work great and fit the soft top correctly. The things I found to be non-original are the coil and upgraded shocks.
