1967 Mercedes 250SL Pagoda 250 SL is one of the rarest pagodas produced from December 1966 to January 1968, about one year. European Model with Km/hr speedometer imported to United States in early 70's This is a matching numbers car in 1989 the engine and transmission have been rebuilt The brakes were redone by Mercedes Benz dealer The car has new white wall radial tires , a new battery and new fuel pump This car is a driver and not a ten point car. It can be driven as is or taken the next level as a complete restoration Pagodas are increasing in value every year because a lot of the 190 SL's are headed to Germany The car is meant to be driven and enjoyed as is.It starts right up.Everything works . No smoke from exhaust noted Last year new gas tank and sender were replaced including an extensive tune up with spark plugs and all fluids were replaced Last year I re-did the entire interior including seats ,carpets ,door cards and new wood trim as well as a new convertible top at a cost of over 5000$ ,receipts included The front windshield was delaminating and therefore was replaced. Also period correct Becker Europa radio with built in Blue tooth was installed at that time. The car has a new trunk liner and a spare tire with jack, tools, and original owners manual. All repair receipts are included from the engine rebuilt, over 20,000$ worth ,since previous owners ownership .This car has a well documented life . Long term ownership since purchase by previous owner in 1986.(purchase receipt included) The car had a resent respray and presents well.Chrome is in good condition Red seat belts were also installed in a recent interior replacement, and contrast well with blue interior.
