Description
This 1969 Jaguar XKE is a Series II two-seat convertible finished in British Racing Green over Cinnamon leather and is powered by a numbers-matching 4. 2-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Equipment includes a gray soft top, dual Stromberg carburetors, 15? chrome wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a period Philips AM/FM/SW radio. Recommissioning service included a tune-up, replacement of the water pump, rebuilding the carburetors, fluid changes, a fuel system flush, and replacement of the battery and exhaust system. Chrome 15? knock-off wire wheels wear Dunlop tires up front and Pirelli tires out back, the former of which have visible cracks in the sidewalls. The car features independent suspension at all four corners and four-wheel disc brakes with inboard rear rotors. The seats, center console, and door panels are trimmed in Cinnamon leather and complemented by matching carpets. Amenities include a center console with an armrest, a locking glove box, and a period Philips AM/FM/SW radio. The factory wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level are located in the center of the dashboard.
