Description
The car was subsequently refurbished in 2012, which included a glass-out repaint in Granada Red, fitting Recaro front seats in the black interior, installation of a 2. 0-liter inline-four and a five-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential, refurbishing the rear subframe, and overhauls of the suspension and brake systems. Equipment includes Bilstein shocks, E21-sourced rear brakes, a Lecarra steering wheel, a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, and black California license plates. This 1600-2 is now offered with the removed factory 1. During refurbishment, the engine, interior, and glass were removed, the right-front fender was replaced, and the body was then refinished in Granada Red. Exterior features include Cibie headlights, chrome bumpers with early-style front bumper horns, a side mirror, and red-center round tail lights. Painted 13? steel wheels with full polished covers wear 185/70 Sumitomo HTR 4 tires, and a full-sized silver-finished spare wheel with an older Michelin tire is stored in the trunk. The brake system features a set of rear drums sourced from an E21 320i, and Bilstein shocks are equipped at all four corners. The black interior features Recaro buckets seats up front and a rear bench that are upholstered in black leatherette. Additional features include an Lecarra steering wheel, a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, a short shift console, and a manually operated sunroof.
