1971 Jensen Interceptor

An $18k cosmetic refurbishment was conducted from September 2014 to March 2015, during which time the body received a bare-metal repaint in Audi Estoril Blue and the interior was reupholstered in red leather with blue piping. Modifications include a Camaro front air dam, an aftermarket CD player, and an R134 conversion of the A/C system. The body was taken down to bare metal by Classic Auto Body in Kenosha, Wisconsin and repaired prior to being repainted in Audi Estoril Blue. Correct Rostyle wheels are fitted, while the brightwork and lighting appear to be correct for this model year. A set of driving lights are included and pictured in the gallery, though they are not presently fitted. Photos of the car at various points in the repaint process are included in the gallery. The original 8-track player is included. A crack is present in the dash near the windshield, and another is present in the vinyl on the glovebox door. Photos of the stripped cabin during the restoration are included and show the condition of the floors with the carpets removed. All of the other interior features, including the gauges and power windows, work as they should. The odometer shows 49k miles and is believed accurate. The Interceptor used the Chrysler 383ci V8 until October 1971. No mechanical modifications are noted apart from the aforementioned conversion to R134a A/C. The original brochure and a selection of service records are included dating back to the 1980s. Period magazines, a Jensen Parts Catalogue, and a book of Jensen tech tips also come with the car.
